How to take screen shot on PC ?

There is 4 ways to take screenshot of your computer using built-in tools.

1. Press the keyboard keys : ins Prt Sc (Print Screen) or CTRL + ins Prt Sc (Print Screen).



Using this trick you can take screenshot of the whole screen. Windows tooks a screenshot of whole screen and saves it to the clipboard. Open paint brush apps and click on paste or press Ctrl+V key from keyboard. After you can edit it or save as usual. This trick works in all versions of Windows

2.  Press the keyboard keys : Alt + ins Prt Sc (Print Screen).


Using this trick you can take screenshot of active window. Open any window to that you want to take screenshots and press Alt + ins Prt Sc (Print Screen)  key on your keyboard. Windows tooks a screenshot of active windows and saves it to the clipboard. Open paint brush apps and click on paste or press Ctrl+V key from keyboard. After you can edit it or save as usual..


3.  Press the keyboard keys : Windows + ins Prt Sc (Print Screen).


Using this tricks windows take screenshot of whole screen and directly save the screenshots image to Picture library in screenshot folder. Image saves in .png file type. You don't need to use any other tools to edit and save it.

4.  Using the Snipping Tools.

Snapping tools is a desktop app for taking screenshots. it can create all kinds of screenshots, you can also use it to do some light editing on picture.

Click on Start Menu or Press Windows key on keyboard.
Search Snipping Tools in search bar and open it.



Click on new and Drag your mouse those area which you want to take screenshot.
Shipping Tools editor page will open with screenshot which you is captured.
Go to file menu and click on save as and save it.
