How to open WhatsApp in Computer ?


There are two ways to use a WhatsApp on personal computer or a tablet.

1.    WhatsApp web - View Whats App in a web browser.
2.    WhatsApp for desktop - App you need to download.

           1. Whatsapp web
Whatsapp web syncs with the mobile app to let you send and receive WhatsApp messages from your computer. Any action you take on the phone will show on WhatsApp on your computer and vice versa. You can access WhatsApp app on both your mobile and your personal computer.


  • Open web browser on your PC, laptop or tablet.
  • Type web.whatsapp.com

  • After you will see the following interface on page.

  • Open your whatsapp in your mobile.
On Iphone go to setting below and choose WhatsApp web/Desktop.
                                                Or
On Android tap the three dots at the top right and choose WhatsApp web.


  • Your mobile camera will open to scan the QR code visible in your computer's web browser.
  • Then move your mobile camera at the computer screen to scan the QR code.



Whatsapp web will automatically launch in the browser and will remain active until you log out from your computer or your mobile.



You can select this option on your mobile by returning to the WhatsApp web/desktop menu and choose to log out from all devices.


Logging out from your computer you can do it by tapping the three dots icon at the top of the conversation then choose Log out.




           2. Whatsapp for desktop 


  • Download and Install the WhatsApp web desktop application, available for PC or MacBook from whatapp.com/download.



  • Click the green download button to install the WhatsApp application on your computer.
Please note that: You can only install Whatsapp application on your computer if your operating system is Windows 8 or above or Mac OSX 10.9 or above.

  • Open the download folder and find the file then double-click on file to install.
  • Follow the steps in the installer' and on a Mac simply drag the WhatsApp icon to your applications folder.
  • Start the WhatsApp desktop application and the process is the same as above.
  • The application will keep you logged in to WhatsApp until you log out.
